We are faced with increasing massive consequences and impact of decades of global warming and unprecedented production and consumption of goods and natural resources exploitation.
Where we come from
The recent global ravages of the life changing pandemic, which currently removes, restricts and diminishes people’s lives across this beautiful Earth, are becoming mankind major events, which added to the constant myriad of daily problems we are confronted is getting literally overwhelming.
There is an increasing awareness of these extremely large scale, damaging issues, while “change” and “bigness” are now substantial factors for a more-caring, equitable future throughout all species on this Planet.
The realisation that Human Race has now entered an unending quest for advancement, with the idea of “unforeseen” events is actually deemed to be “on-going regular and expected” occurrence on the Planet. Economic devastation and real human tragedy befall our species “in the midst of plenty” with highly visible impact at the same time. The apparent cause of the SARS-CoV2 virus suggests we Humans as a Race have impacted - perhaps unwittingly - on living species co-existing within our environment, with dire consequence. Humanity’s use of creative ingenuity and accompanying actions and activities, are resulting in rapid new and different solutions in what we might call “This New World.”
The thinking process
The genuine solutions contributing to battling Global Warming engage much more complex and intricate challenges and events. At the same time, Global Warming involves much larger impact on people’s lives, which comprise different forms of “bigness”. Widespread leadership, funding, planning and implementation, consist of local and global application, which are highly impacting on life. Expert knowledge about Global Warming includes growing demand for electrical power, which among other things, continues to grow as the World’s population grows - Seven Point Five Billion persons and rising rapidly still -. As a result, a viable alternative source of fuelling existing power-generation installations is both vital and urgent … An estimated 82% of all electrical power generation globally is still fuelled by/with fossil fuel(s) - coal & gas - currently.
Projections suggested that by 2035 such figure will have reduced to 50%; somewhat optimistic given the fact that there are many coal-or gas-fired power stations under construction currently in Asia and elsewhere, globally-speaking.
Alternative energies
The cost of scrapping existing carbon-fuelled plants and providing cost-effective low-carbon generating alternatives is both extreme and extravagant. The overall “Bigness” of the world requires alternative bio-fuels; their replacement is both a local and global quandary. Related events include actions and activities of turbine buyers, users and manufacturers offering multi-fuel capability and thus a realistic alternative to scrapping existing plants. (A rule of thumb is that there exists an average approximate 35 years’ remaining, life span. The topic engages the realities of sound and comprehensive decisions, including the timeliness of related actions, deemed incredibly important to Countries; they are actually part of strategic planning related to what should next be done related to Global Warming’s solutions.
An aggregate of knowledge of technology and steps-to-take, is integral in strategic planning for the supplying of massive quantities of non-fossil fuels. Solar Technology, Wind Turbines, Electric Vehicles, Hydro Power, Hydrogen Fuel, and Nuclear Power, amongst others, are all vital factors during the increasingly larger energy investments taking place. The projected gap between demand and supply for fuels, given cessation of the use of fossil fuels, is an extremely large one.
Current development
The global motor vehicle industry’s current development of electrically powered motor vehicles accompanied by much reduce individual ownership and operation of such vehicles in order to reduce reliance on carbon-rich petroleum or diesel fuel driven combustion engines, which propel vehicles for commercial and personal use. While there is much ado about EV’s, the question unanswered is, where does the additional sustainable electrical power come from the need to drive this new generation of conveyance? Yes, “they” are missing: with “82% of electrical generation” coming from carboniferous fossil fuels, portraying the clear need for a “Big Solution”. Neither Solar nor Wind is reliable enough to provide sustainable power generation 24 hours a day in the face of estimated conservative impact by Global Warming.
The gaps are tremendous, between aggregate and/or individual solutions being discussed and implemented. The challenges of “Bigness” appear in none of the commentary but are overwhelming around the World. “Bigness” contributes to clarification and definition of a solution while being able to be successfully “managed at scale.” Around the World, the strategic use of massive resources is joined by constant, on-going technological advancement and other “changes”.

We as Human Race are now faced with an important choice to make vis a' vis of the future generations: do we want to keep enjoying this Realm and actively participate to the “Dance of The Thriving Life” or do we want to destroy all, ourselves included? As a result of that, the wider perspective of "Life Itself" has given us a clear understanding of its intrinsic nature: a Oneness, or, as we feel more accurate to term it, an “Osmotic Wholeness that fluctuates sine die between the Physical World and the Metaphysical Persistence”. These concepts have flowed into the deeply felt life changing Initiative that we have chosen to identify with the name of “The AlgaeOlogy Initiative” or “The Algae Project” which it is our main project to date.
Introduction to the "Initiative"
The Algae Project’ is designed provide the contribution of genuinely real and substantial solutions to many of the problems besetting humanity including applications with massive local and global impact. It originates and adapts the applications of technology and its methodology, in the growing process and in the refining of the algae biomass, as well as other water purification methods in initially extracting three (3) basic raw materials, which are commodities essential to our very existence as the human species:
Primarily, “The Algae Project” provides technologically driven solutions “at scale” resulting from today’s processing methodology, encompassing utilising uniquely large-scale Project Funding Sums. These are the two (2) vital factors, which provide algal-originated product essential to the pressing needs as genuinely real, sustainable and consequential solutions to Global Warming, by contributing to reducing carbon emissions, by countering pollution created by increasing global industrialisation, which replaces fossil fuels - coal, gas and oil-derivatives - with algal bio-fuel, algal biomass and potable and/or other clean water. These are solutions which have been developed over a long period of time, and have become extremely timely and propitious, as recent events and activities have occurred, locally and globally.
Technology
The technology, and today’s methods and approaches, result in almost unlimited volumetric allowing its massive applications as a sustainable and viable replacement fuel.
It constitutes a portion of the required solution to replacing fossil fuels, with uniquely, zero carbon ingredients’ involved, thus eliminating carbon emissions in the atmosphere and applications which effectively are “drop in.”. By “managing” the “mix” within the “applications” there is alone a total dramatic impact, while at the same time, the processes for manufacturing the “replacement fuels(s)” generates massive levels of economic growth and societal development, as well as other activities; upon review there is virtually unlimited potential local quantitative and quality of life effects. Secondly, the residual biomass left post-extraction of fuel oils has many applications across industries with almost daily announcement of novel uses for algae-derived, bio-fuel and biomass products, as well as potable and clean water involvement in wide ranging local and global manufacturing processes …
Methods and approaches
For instance: in food as bases and additives; in feed for fish, for fowl, for cattle; in the manufacture of organic fertilisers; in the manufacturing of textiles; in the making of bio-degradable plastic and packaging; in the formulation of paints and dyes; of pharmaceuticals medicines; of "ceuticals" and pharmaceutical “supplements” and other applications; in cosmetics and oleo chemicals; and so on. Fuelled by a growing international trend towards veganism and vegetarianism, the food industry at large is producing plant-based substitutes for meat and fish products; from beef steaks and burgers to even ersatz smoked salmon and shrimp; all of which increasingly authentic in appearance, texture and taste.
Thirdly, there is what to many people around the world is the subject of greatest importance and danger, too: potable and clean water. This basic raw material is minimally of extremely high levels of importance to our existence and survival.
